Haunted Mill for FHE!

On Monday, October 20th 2008, our married ward had an activity for FHE. They took everyone to the Haunted Mill. It was so funny!

First, we went to Bro. Cook's house to have hot dogs and smore's. We all sat around a big fire to keep warm and socialize.

Bro. Cook lives right next to the Mill, so we just walked there after dinner. It was really scary! I was clutching to Mark almost the whole time. They had us crawl through tunnels and walk down dark hallways. There were "spooks" everywhere. They had us cross a bridge outside and splashed water up on us as we crossed. They also had a suspension bridge that went over a big waterfall. The bridge was really shaking and I was scared to death that I was going to fall off into the dark water below.

Anyway, they wouldn't let us take pictures inside, so I only got some in line. The couple we went through with are some friends of ours that live next door. Their names are Eileen and Chad Davis. They have the cutest little boy. He is about a year and a half, but he stayed at Bro. Cook's house, of course. I think he would have been traumatized for life. :) Anyway, it was a lot of fun!
