Snow, Snow and MORE SNOW!!!

Well, today was an interesting day. Mark & I got up at about 7:00 and threw on our snow clothes and went outside to start shoveling the snow that had fallen over night. By 8:30 the wind was blowing so hard that we couldn't tell we had done anything. So we decided to come inside and rest a bit. When we got inside, the power was out. So we set up our battery lanterns, around the house, and we got out some games. We played for a while and then went back outside. We redid everything we had done, and then it got windy again. So we went into the club house for a WONDERFUL breakfast put on by our Enrichment leaders for the ward. It was so good!!! Our maintenance man showed up around 11:30 to plow the parking lot. By then there was a lot of ice buildup from people driving in and out. So he wasn't able to plow it very well. Anyway, around 3:30 we realized that we needed to take our Redbox movie back. We got out to our car and tried to leave the parking lot. There was so much snow that we got stuck, in our own parking lot, and Nathan (our maintenance man) had to tow us back to our parking spot. We ended up just staying inside the rest of the night, playing games and watching The Lord of the Rings. It was a fun day being snowed in with my "Snowman." :)
