Suggestions: The 72-Hour Kit will require approximately 3 quarts of water. The menu is only a suggestion of how to consume the edible products. Products may be changed as desired for any given day or meal, but don’t eat everything the first day. This kit does not provide for fancy meals; however, you certainly will maintain a stable physical body condition. It is recommended that you rotate the edible items in the kit at least once a year. One idea for edible item rotation is to eat the items around Conference (General or Semi-Annual) time each year, replacing the items with new ones.

We bought our dishes at DI and all our food from Wal-Mart. We only spent $50 for the two of us. You will also need a back pack, but we already had those, so it was about $25 each.

Thanks for posting this on your blog! I really need to do this. I have that gift card from my parent's for Christmas for food storage that I still haven't used...I'm terrible! You have motivated me to do it now!
