On April 30th, I had an MRI done to check on the cyst in my brain. I must have had a bad reaction to the contrast they put in me, cause that night I threw up all night long. It was awful. We had been planning on going to Utah that weekend to see Mark's sister and her family. We had to cancel because I didn't feel like traveling. By Saturday afternoon, I was back to normal and we were so sad that we weren't able to make it to Utah.
On Sunday morning, Colleen called us and said that Martin's grandma needed to go to Idaho Falls, so they drove up and spent the weekend with us. We had already planned on having my nephew, Conner, for Sunday night. So we got to have a double date weekend. It was so fun. Here are some pictures of some of the things we did together.

Mark and Nicole,
I'm so glad you guys were able to meet up with Colleen Martin and Aaron. I know it meant a lot to them to be able to see you. It really warms a mom's heart to know that her children who are "out of the nest" get together and enjoy one another.
I love you both so much!

Hey, i just checked out your adoption blog and I think it looks great!!! I think it would be fun to put individual pictures of you on the pages where you describe each other. Photos are always fun. But I really like how you have links to everything instead of just putting it all on the main page. Looks great. Hope you guys are doing good. Good luck!
I'm glad that you guys had so much fun with Mark's sister. Look's like the boys had a great time together!
I love spending time with nieces and nephews! In fact, we just got a new niece on Monday and we're so excited! And your adoption blog looks really good, by the way. I hope you're doing well! :)
Okay, my favorite pic is the one where Conner is pushing Aaron in the stroller on the walk! That is stinkin' funny!
So sorry that you reacted to the contrast...that's not fun! I love your adoption blog and know you'll be such wonderful parents!
Nicole! I didn't know you had a brain cyst! I hope its not serious. How do you realize you have something like that?
Anyway, you gave a wonderful lesson on Sunday! I always get excited when I hear you're teaching. You are secretly my favorite, but don't tell anyone else! You always know how to individually touch our hearts:)
Many smiles, and have a great weekend!
Such cute pictures! You guys have such an amazing family! I love the pictures with the corndog! It makes me hungry!
