Thanksgiving and Lots and Lots of Turquoise!

This year for Thanksgiving, my parents and my brothers came to our house to feast.  It was so nice to see them again, I only wish the rest of our family could have been here.  We had a few friends from the ward join us for Thanksgiving.  It was a FULL house, or at least my kitchen.

It was a very nice dinner with awesome food!  Which is all to be expected considering who was in the kitchen all day.  My Daddy!  That man makes Thanksgiving!  It just wouldn't be the same without his stuffing and stuffed mushrooms and pies. . . I could go on and on.

We had a lot of fun crafting, painting and building.  My house look AWESOME thanks to my wonderful family for helping me.

So, I went to Walmart and bought a gallon of turquoise paint and let it explode all over my house.  Then I found a 4 post twin size bed at a thrift store.  Then my parents brought this cool shelf they got at a garage sale.

So what does

Then I painted my headboard and the little island in the kitchen the same color.

It was a great week and I just want to tell my family THANK YOU for making it special for us.  We love you!

I'm so glad your family got to come down. The only thing that would have been better is if you had come to IF so I could see you! I love turquoise, too. How fun!

Hi Mark & Nicole,

Here's a good video I found on YouTube about religion, you might like to view it and see what you think.

”God in my life”

I think it makes a lot of good common sense don't you?
