So, for our 4 year anniversary, Mark bought me a MacBook. I love it, but I am still trying to get used to it. Our anniversary in the 14th of October, but we celebrated over Conference weekend. We got tickets to the Sunday morning session of conference, so we went to Utah for the weekend. We drove down on Saturday morning. We listened to the 1st session while driving. When we got to Salt Lake, we went to the Gateway to have lunch. We ate at Panda Express, one of our favorites. Yum!!!
Then we went to our AWESOME hotel for the 2nd session. This room was huge and was so modern. We had a whole kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. Check it out! It was so fun!
After conference, we went to the "Mayan Adventure" for dinner. I have wanted to take Mark there ever since we got married. It's about time, huh?

After dinner, we rented "Twilight" and bought a bunch of junk food and went back to the hotel for movie night. It was so much fun. Then in the morning we just packed up and left for conference. It was so crowded around the conference center. There were protesters and people trying to get tickets and then everyone else that was going to conference. We had to be there an hour early just to wait in line. Anyway, we got to be there for "The Music and the Spoken Word." That was awesome! Then conference started. The spirit was so strong as the entire congregation stood to welcome the 1st presidency. I almost cried. Conference was great! Then we drove home and listened to the rest in the car. It was a great weekend.
Well, here are some pictures of our house. We are finally unpacked and I love our new place. Enjoy!
Lastly, I just finished my gumpaste class for cake decorating. Here are a few pictures of the bouquet I made. I love it, and guess what? The whole thing is edible. Cool huh?!
Anyway, icing class is going great and I am getting more and more excited to make cakes. Just to give you the heads up, I will be done March 23, 2010 so if you need a cake give me a call.
